| About the winner of Manglish contest |
 |

The winner of the translation contest is Mr. Ching Kin Min.
Mr. Ching is 28 years old from Singapore.
He started to go to a music school in Tokyo this spring.
Since he has worked for a manga publishing company, he knows well about
Japanese manga and he loves reading them.
The most difficult part, he says, about making translation was to comprehend some terms in Japanese. But he spent only two days to finish it.
In his opinion, the most important thing in manga translation is to understand the feelings of the characters by being devoted to the story. He regrets some grammatical mistakes, although he did proofreading many times before submitting. He says, however, he finds satisfaction in his achievement.
"I hope online services like Manganovel spread more widely. You can read Japanese manga in multiple languages.
I think it is also good that Manganovel is eco-friendly - It doesn't require paper since it's based online."
, says Mr. Ching.
Congratulations!
Good luck with whatever you choose to do in the future!
